The user is guaranteed results of greatly brighter and whiter teeth within 7 to 14 days of use.

The pit falls of using white light products:

Reviews vary as to the effectiveness of the white light teeth whitening system. You must be careful as you research reviews since many are sponsored by the manufacturers themselves. But it seems that a lot of users have been disappointed. First, the trays furnished are not molded to the teeth. This lets the gel seep out from under the tray making the process mess. Another important thing we can all do for DIY teeth whitening is to modify some of our personal habits. The very worst of the staining agents is nicotine. Kicking this habit can do great things for you in several ways and it certainly effects the health of your mouth, gums and teeth. Coffee stains are very bad as well. If you can’t cut down on your coffee intake you should try brushing after your morning coffee as much as possible. This can be good advice for red wine, dark grapes, dark soft drinks or any other food that can stain your teeth.

Some dentists do what is known as UV teeth whitening. While this process also uses hydrogen peroxide it is used in a much higher concentration. Over-the-counter teeth whitening kits have a much less potent mixture so that the chance of mistakes and possible teeth or gum damage is lessened.
